"I have always found the ocean and it's surrounding landscape a source of peace and solitude. Perhaps it is the constantly changing seascape or maybe it is the sound of the crashing surf that transports me to a place where I can daydream. These photographs explore my relationship with the ocean. I used long exposures to capture the fluid movement of water and the powerful contrast between it's intense raw energy and the overwhelming sense of tranquility that I feel when I am there."
