His intention is to express and embellish the subject with paint and other materials,
using surface textures, glazes and color while still retaining the recognizable and
organic elements of the motif. With his landscapes, he tries to reflect energy changes
caused by the Sun, the clouds and the weather. In all his work, he tries to combine the
familiar with the unexpected.
