They currently work in St. Louis, MO.
I seek elasticity in existing structures, constructing objects incorporating contrasting binaries, resisting individual categorization, encapsulating the full spectrum between hard and soft, wood and fiber, and masculine and feminine. My current work consists of building “second skins:” contouring yarn line by line to resemble wood grain, obscuring and tracing an existing structure such as furniture or animal decoys. I draw inspiration from camp, drag, theater, and the club scene: spaces whose reality is the product of illusion.
