As someone who works in oil paint across multiple genres I find myself equally at home with such subject categories as still life, landscape or the human figure. While the subjects are often recognizable, especially since I am a representational painter, the paintings themselves were never intended to be photographic transcriptions or hyper-realistic representations. My hope is that questions of about style can somehow be circumvented.
