New Collectors is an art gallery that features work by emerging artists and is in Manhattan’s Lower East Side neighborhood. The gallery statement and intention are to provide an entry point for both artists and collectors navigating the art world from an outside perspective. Still in its early stages, New Collectors has already had eight exhibitions. This includes a show with Andrea Belag, and two shows in partnership with School of Visual Arts MFA professor (and artist) James O. Clark. Sibilla Maiarelli is the Founder and Director of the gallery. She studied at Goucher College and The American University of Rome and opened the gallery at 24 years of age.
