Katherine Kesey is a visual artist making oil paintings, collages, and drawings in Los Angeles California. She holds a BS in Graphic Communications from Clemson University, and an MFA Fine Art from Otis College of Art and Design. Her work has been exhibited across SoCal and South Carolina, in solo exhibitions including WuuM Gallery, The Bolsky Gallery, and The Courtroom Gallery, and in group exhibitions including MagPark Studios, CMAY Gallery, Hashimoto Contemporary, Goodyear Arts, Gallery C3, and the York County Center for the Arts.

Katherine moved to LA in 2021 to attend grad school at Otis, but spent the majority of her teens and early twenties in South Carolina, working as a graphic designer. Both design and the south greatly influence her current work.

Her pieces are representational, drawing upon reference imagery she takes herself. In them she collages snippets of nature, landscapes, signage, roadways, trash, textual elements, and a myriad of other scenes she encounters within her daily life - especially ordinary objects one might usually overlook.
