Kaitlin Andrews is a fine artist based in Belgium, where she lives with her husband and two children. Originally from Southern California, she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2010 from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. Her work is rooted in abstract painting and mixed media, characterized by a vivid, intuitive use of color, line, shape, and movement. She creates work that invites viewers into a personal and emotional experience. She has exhibited her work in California and Belgium and collaborates with private collectors on commissioned pieces. Her practice is guided by a commitment to creating timeless, one-of-a-kind artworks that resonate in both contemporary and personal spaces. Kaitlin’s versatility reflects a deep passion for exploring the boundaries of visual expression. Her unique blend of American roots and European influences continues to inspire and evolve her artistic journey.

My work is rooted in abstraction—an intuitive language of color, line, shape and form, that allows emotion and movement to come to the forefront. I’m drawn to the tension between structure and fluidity, and I use these elements to build vivid visual spaces that invite interpretation and connection. All of my work aims to create a timeless quality, allowing the focus to remain on the gestures, rhythms, colors, and relationships between shapes. The work is meant to speak to the viewer, not through literal representation, but through the energy and emotion of abstraction.
