Jacki Davis is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York City. Jacki has lived and worked between Los Angeles and New York, across art direction, creative writing, and costume/set design. Her work embodies concepts of the natural world and often refers to ancient philosophies of indigenous cultures, directly linked to her heritage. She creates works on paper, artist books, paintings, photography, ceramic, performance and installation. Recent works in her decades long US currency collage series approach subject matter related to environmental conservation, and the study of the earth’s animal realm as a spiritual guide. Recent acrylic paintings explore interpretations of energy frequency and quantum theory through forms visualized in meditation.
