Sculpture, pottery, printmaking, jewelry, watercolor, oil, figures, landscape, abstract, Halee has mastered many subjects and media. Formal education in art at Utah State University and years spent teaching art combined with years of studying art on her own and building with her hands have honed her skills. An avid gardener and rock hound, whether she is building rock walls or hunting rocks in the west desert, she's constantly gleaning nature's secrets by keeping her eyes open and her hands moving.

Growing up in the Mountains of Utah has been the biggest influence in my Abstract art. I spend lots of time looking closely at the natural world around me. The ink I use and the process of laying it down in non traditional ways mimics what I see in nature. I capture the art in nature's details, from the microscopic up to the cosmic, without being representational of any one detail.
