While the white-and-blue palette and square format unites Steve Moors' prints, the strange alternate realities they open towards are multitudinous. Many viewers (including us at Curina) have remarked how his detailed blue lines enhanced by a translucent top layer resemble celadon - but the themes Steve tap into are very modern. Familiar spaces like parks, interiors of houses, and pools are infiltrated by grotesquely exaggerated versions of wishes we had whispered to ourselves at night.
