The artwork 'Needeen' by Philippe Halaburda features dynamic geometric shapes in vibrant yellow, coral, and gray tones, intersected by thin yarn lines creating a web-like pattern. Bold red angular forms and blue geometric patterns frame the composition, while adhesive tape adds textural elements to this 20x20 inch abstract acrylic painting. - Philippe Halaburda
The artwork 'Needeen' by Philippe Halaburda features a dynamic abstract composition with geometric shapes in yellow, coral, and gray. Intersecting lines created with yarn form a web-like pattern across the canvas, while angular shapes and chevron patterns in blue accent the corners. Mixed media techniques combine acrylic paint, tape, and yarn on a 20x20 inch canvas.

    Philippe Halaburda

    Philippe Halaburda

Born in France / Works in New York

Philippe calls his paintings “geographical abstractions”. He reconstructs recognizable details of an urban environment (angular shapes that look like construction debris or suggestion of skyscrapers, for example) according to his personal impression of pecific locations like New York, Aix-en-Provence, and Zurich. But Philippe doesn’t try to organize everything - where everything is fast, noisy, smelly, and overall so extra-, you gotta lean into the chaos and learn how to enjoy it.
