Richey’s cyanotypes are inspired by the ephemeral aspects of the natural world. He uses white and vibrant blue hues to prompt the viewer to reflect on memories and fleeting moments such as cloud formations passing overhead, rain on a car window, and pool tiles under shimmering water.

The work comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.

We offer $50 shipping in the continental U.S. and $20 installation service in the NYC metro area. Return shipping is also $50, but waived if you rent for 6 months or longer. Just shoot us an email and we'll help you safely return the artworks.

John Richey is a New York based visual artist who works between Brooklyn, NY and the Hudson Valley. His cross-disciplinary practice is process-driven and incorporates cyanotype, handmade video animations, and immersive installations using themes and images borrowed from various personal collections. He holds multiple degrees, has exhibited domestically and abroad, and was profiled in Artforum Internationals “Best of 2004”. Richey has held professional titles in New York at Marian Goodman Gallery, Greene Naftali Gallery, the Keith Haring Foundation, and Pace Gallery.
