A recipient of the Queen’s Art Fund New Work Grant (2019), MacDonald recently completed a 4heads residency on Governors Island, New York (2022). Based in New York, MacDonald creates compelling pieces characterized by dark humor, social satire, and an obsessive attention to detail. Her intimately scaled artworks belong in private collections throughout Canada and the U.S.
