My practice leverages color as a storytelling mechanism, creating a painterly pop-art approach. While rooted in observations of the everyday, my work also glimpses into a transcendent escape. The paintings depict everyday objects, floral motifs and figurative elements. My palette often includes vibrant pigments, creating a heightened sense or idealistic view of reality. The paintings act as a rebuke to the present moment with their burst of color and joy while simultaneously depicting the vulnerability of daily life.
