Caetlynn Booth’s Synchronized Mirror series features reflections of parts of dancerly forms. In vivid palettes between Art Deco and 60's psychedelia, the movement of pairs of legs en pointe are reflected over a central, horizontal axis. Furthermore, the shapes in the corners/border riff on those forms in abstract knots. Much like Caetylnn’s other works, the forms mimic seagrass, or perhaps the tangled roots of a cyprus and their own reflection as they grow down (or up) into the swamp waters.

The work comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.

We offer $50 shipping in the continental U.S. and $20 installation service in the NYC metro area. Return shipping is also $50, but waived if you rent for 6 months or longer. Just shoot us an email and we'll help you safely return the artworks.

Your monthly rental payments accumulate and get deducted from the purchase price if you decide to buy the work.

    Caetlynn Booth

Born in St. Helena, CA / Works in Queens, NY

The swarms of technicolor lined up on Caetlynn's palette are hard to believe came from mixing paint. The cool neon violet, for example, looks like it has been like that forever, made up of a material halfway between mud and clouds. Combined with her ways of boldly cutting landscape with geometry, her paintings become a vision from eyes shaped by digital environments - she has a special interest in mirroring and repetition in particular. As recognizable objects slowly disappear with such modulations, what remains is a sense of transcendence that does not relinquish joy.
