Michelle Selwa’s manipulated portrait studies the figure in colors that appear inverse or shifted from the original palette. Reminiscent of neon glitches in tv and computer screens, the painting has a distinct digital feel. The soft shapes and colors thematic in Michelles work are present, but also intensified.
