BIO
Born in Rochester, NY, James Wells lives and works in Brooklyn. James likes looking at the sidewalk, printmaking, and sewing. James is interested in uniform objects, particularly those that occupy public spaces, and the uncanny way that they can exist as both ubiquitous and specific. Recently, James has worked as a Print Fellow in the Pratt Institute Editions (PIE) program, as well as receiving his BFA from the institute with a concentration in printmaking.
