Christina often works with things usually supposed to see through: windows, mirrors, blinds, and curtains. Upon them is a struggle between the desire to preserve the alluring mystery of the secret thing that they're covering up, and the fact that half of what creates that mystery is just the fact that it's obscured. What happens if you look beyond the bright orange curtain and find nothing behind? Are you ready to see metal instead of yourself in that mirror?
Christina was born in NYC in 1989 and grew up in Brooklyn, NY. She is an artist instructor with Studio in a School and Wet Paint Art Studio, and lives and works in Queens.
