Suzanne Laura Kammin
Suzanne’s work balances itself on a non-linear timeline, reconciling the past, present, and future through unexpected shapes and colors. Through her willingness to embrace emptiness, Suzanne is able to create a sense of wholeness and harmony which settle her paintings, yet still allow them to sit just out of reach. Her approach to abstraction is mysterious and elusive, but is punctuated by an overwhelming sense of optimism, as though they are pulling us towards the future.
You’ll love Suzanne if you: embrace mysteries, especially those you’ve created yourself
My paintings are informed by Buddhist emptiness teachings which posit that nothing possesses inherent existence; everything is dependent on its parts, on causes and conditions and on the mind.
